A “Small Damage”! in Germany.
In August 2017 I had a collision on the River Rhine. Sailing downstream along the promenade of Emmerich am Rhine (Germany) a guy with a small speedboat came from the shore at high speed and tried to make before hitting me a 90 degree turn show off. He missed timing and hid me full speed with the sid...

Hi Daan,
Since I had no time my paint job was done by Scheepvaartwinkel Arnhem. The top layer is a nailhard paint from http://www.de-ijssel-coatings.nl.
I hope this helps you. If you want more info please ask

Re: Front screen
Hallo George, Danke dass du mir auf den Laufenden hältst! My daughter has been working on our drawing, for what we think is our most “desired” form for the front screen and for 3 rims over the front middle and back of the boat. Rims that will hold a “tent”cover. At the moment in Bucuresti Romania, a...

Re: Sacrificing Anodes (M/B ''Gerris Molaris II'')
Good document
Questions:
1 how is the wiring in the inside of the boat between the anodes and the body of the boat?
2 what should one do on a long trip where sweet and salt water is met. (Danube - Delta - Black Sea. Bosporus Adria) have extra anodes in the lugage?

Anodes and electrical connection.
I am finishing all electrical components in the boat.
I need help on the following
1 there has been an electrical connection between the Inox parts and the anodes. how is this configured?
2 Which anodes can be used where and especially what I use on salt water (Black sea/ Adria )

Romanian Volga called Rachetta II
In the attachment I have placed a story about my project with my Volga. Our intention with the boat is to use it for traveling on long distance (5000 km) on the European rivers. (ie. Rhine, Danube, Elbe, Oder, Don, Dnepr, Volga, Lena.). This is the main perspective during the project and determines ...

Front screen
I want to have a much larger front screen on my Volga. We (especially my son and I) are way above the rim of the screen and are sitting with our faces in the wind. I want the angle reduced to 30degrees and the length up to 1 meter. I had an offer for 4500 Euro. To be honest that sucks. Can anyone he...
