Re: Photo of hoisting point

Oh thank you, that hoisting point is removed by former owners. The iron sheet around is very rusty and I think because of that they removed it. My plan is, to screw to anchor plates (200mm x 200mm) at the bulkhead wtih M12 screws and in the middle of the plates I will attach one of the hoisting poin...

Photo of hoisting point

Hi there, may anyone post pictures here, how the hoisting point in the front of the boat is build? In the documentations of the volga 70, there is only the small passage, to use the hoisting ropes, which are delivered with the boat. In Fig. 2 of the manual is shown the eye-bolt between bulkhead 5 an...

Re: Boat show 2018

Hi Janis, Unfortunatly I am not in the country. I think you mean the Düsseldorf boat show. As I know from last year there is only a small part where are restauration companies. The better exhibition for reift with a greater Part for oldtimers is the Berlin boat show in November. Have nice days at th...

Re: Just bought this!

Hi,
Are you shure you have Production number 1?
I am told, the number you can find on the rear wing, on the right side of the middle Support. There it should be stamped.

Good luck with the boat.

Re: Measurement of front wings

thank you for the link. I already studied that side and there are so many interesting tips. I think the data in the paper regards to the angle of the wings against the baseline. Or did I read it in wrong way? I need the sweep back of the wings. Meanwhile I borrowed an instrument from a friend. The a...

Re: Russian Volga restoration

Thank you for the link. I think you had fun during your restoration. :D You had good solutions for some things. Espacially the positioning for the gear shift is interesting. In that way I plan to install my electrical switches at the side wall in the side cladding. Hope to see some pictures with the...

Re: autocad drawings for custom made traler and wings

Hi, thank you for the pics. At one photo there are the boat supports of the trailer lengthwise mounted. At the other trailer the spports are across the driving direction. Has anyone experiences with the optimal adjustment? Because of the hull structure shouldn´t it be better to mount it lengthwise? ...

Re: re powering a Volga 70 z drive with an out board motor

Hi, my boat is equiped with an outboard. This was the construction, when I bought it: IMG_5683_klein.jpg The Bracket was bolted at the original engine supports and at the transom a steelplate was added. The outboard engine was bolted directly through the transom. You see a small iron angle for the l...
